The PenTab Children’s Ministry is a very special department that caters to the spiritual growth of wee ones aged 30 months to 11 years. When they turn twelve, we have a graduation ceremony that sends them off to the Ignite Youth Group.

A church will flourish when its Youth and Children Ministries are healthy and strong. Christian education is not available in public schools in BC, and so our time with the children at church is crucial. We are training the next generation of church leaders and soul winners, so this department excites a passion for Christ to develop and grow in our children. Our staff brings excitement, love and grace to each class to help our students warmly embrace the needof the Bible, and their church family in their life. Ultimately, through Bible storytelling, music, lively discussions, crafts and games, we help our children see that worshiping with raised hands is ok, that it is cool to cry in church, that Bible stories and verses are great to remember, that being kind, respectful and understanding is important, and that feeling the presence of God, no matter where you are, is priceless.

We want church to be an exciting space where children will desire to be, and truly prove, the message in Proverbs 22:6, “Train up a child in the way he should go: And when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
